CybeRegulation Consulting Group provides consultancy services to governments and the private sector worldwide. The Company specializes in the communications sector, with special emphasis in telecommunications and Internet regulation, strategic planning, broadband, new technologies and spectrum-related matters.
CybeRegulation aims to become a reliable advisor in the decision-making process involving the development of the telecommunications sector in developing countries, as well as a main source of information and advising for governments, companies and investors.
The Team
Rene Bustillo
Rene Adrian Bustillo, MSc, JD-, is a Senior Telecommunications expert with broad experience in the fields of Project Management, Strategic Planning of Public Sector Reform, Telecom Operations, ICT, and Internet & Network Services. Mr. Bustillo has 40 years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he held different positions in both the public and private sectors, including the Boeing Company, NASA, telecommunications operators and regulatory entities. He has worked in most Latin American and Caribbean countries, Eastern Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Pacific as external consultant. He is frequently invited to speak in forums and workshops in fields related to sector regulation and infrastructure, telecommunications and ICT development.
Mohammad Azizi
Mohammad Najeeb Azizi, Ph.D, is an accomplished technology economist and social development expert with a long track record of achievements with the UN, USAID, World Bank, Government of Afghanistan and academic institutions. Dr. Azizi has served over the last two decades in multiple senior management and strategic positions in the public and private sectors with achievements in education, telecom, finance, transport sectors; and has policy contributions in public sector reforms, social development and governance. Since the establishment of the National Unity Government, Dr. Azizi has served as the Advisor to Afghanistan President on Civilianization and Transition in the Ministries of Interior and Defense; where he has led the process of civilianization at the Ministry of Interior. Meanwhile, Azizi is a regular Keynote Speaker to a number of platforms including WTIS, WITSA, WSI, SAARC-HRDC, and CFPP etc. He serves as Independent Peer Reviewer for a number of journals including Peer Review Board of SAARC Journal of HRD.
